WONDER - The Singing Christmas Tree 2024

The theme for the 2024 Singing Christmas Tree is WONDER. One simple word but it’s full of complex meaning. We were created by God with a certain sense to recognize the spectacular nature and the awesomeness of things that aren’t normal or commonplace. We react to such things with wide eyes and a special expectation of awe and amazement. When we realize the vast expanse of God’s creation; when we ponder the infinite nature of His love; when we realize the magnificent gift of His grace; and, when we consider the extravagant cost of our eternal salvation made possible only thru His precious son, Jesus’ blood, we are overwhelmed with a unique sense of wonder and amazement unlike any other in life. It is this realization that causes our hearts and minds to fill with pure joy and our voices to sing His eternal praise. Christmas reminds us to never lose this wonder; to thank Him for the priceless gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus; and, to recommit our hearts and lives to join the flaming tongues above singing Glory to this new-born King.
